Shadow Screen was started in 1983 in one single location as a stationary & printing shop in Ruislip Manor, Middlesex, London, UK.

Although we began with just a single A4 printing machine, we were determined to meet all the local printing needs.

As we saw the need we began adding specialty equipment for architectural blueprints, lamination and more. We quickly gained the trust of our clients by providing the best job, in the shortest time.


By 1995 Shadow Screen  had expanded into a second location in Rayners Lane, always adding only the best people to serve our client needs.


In 1998 we employed top notch designers, and all projects were completed in house, providing our clients with the best quality design, print and finishing.


Our founders had a commitment to hold inventory in every item that was demanded and that we should fulfill on every customer request and ensure no customer leaves unsatisfied. Today this culture continues and is at the heart of Shadow Screen  culture.


In 1998 we developed our first internet website and began fulfilling office supply orders online. With the build of the first site we were able leverage the power of the Internet and expand our capabilities.


2002 saw the introduction of our first large six-colour printing press and a new warehouse to accommodate it all. By 2003 we had added 2 other offices in the United States and Bangalore India where our software is developed and all operational systems are developed and maintained.


We also expanded into the Synchronised Communications (Syncoms) group, a family of companies dedicated to supplying incredible service. Our operation now spans three continents – including Orlando, Florida (United States) and Bangalore (India).
